A urologist is a physician who treats diseases of the kidney, bladder, or urinary system. Urologists usually teach or train medical and clinical staff, document/review patients history, refer patients to specialist once condition is beyond their experience, direct workers/staff to provide patient care to, and also treat urologic disorders. Urologists conduct operations and perform many other treatments using lasers, X-rays, fluoroscopes, and catheters.
